Vinho Verde Rosé Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima
£8.99
Founded in 1959, the Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima is situated in the ancient town of Ponte de Lima, Portugal’s oldest town. It represents around 2000 growers, their families and workers, making it one of the major contenders for the increasingly fashionable Vinho Verde within the area. Among white wines, the Loureiro variety is of particular importance due to its magnificent adaptation to the terroir of the Lima valley, making wines highly appreciated for their freshness, fruit and aroma profiles with medium alcoholic strength.
Pale salmon in colour, this Vinho Verde rosé is dry and refreshing with delicate flavours of red fruits and wild red berries. Crisp on the palate, with mouth-watering acidity and a lingering finish.
