Le Champ des Murailles Grande Cuvee

The Bories family have been making wine in Corbières since 1896 and owns some of the oldest vines in Languedoc. They are dedicated to producing wines that reflect the changing nature of a vintage, without trying to adulterate them by using techniques that tend to standardise the wines produced.

Le Champs des Murailles Grande Cuveé is made with 45% Carignan, 20% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah and was matured for 12 months in oak barrels (30% new). It has an intense nose with blackcurrant and cacao aromas and liquorice notes. A full-bodied wine, it is very ripe on the palate with good concentration of fruits and velvety tannins that balance well with the acidity.
